In the clinic, April will cover proper technique and the biomechanics of paddling, Paddlers can expect to learn proper body position and which muscle groups to engage for each phase of the paddle stroke, which helps avoid injury and increase efficiency. Mantra Give - BIKE, BARRE & BUBBLES - Free Workout for GSPMC Members

Get your sweat on for a good cause! We're offering a free workout to Greater Severna Park Mom's Club members to benefit Sarah's House in Anne Arundel County. 

Our Mantra Give class fuses cycling, barre and yoga. Students will progress through a high energy cardio burn on our world-class Stages Cycles, followed by the lean muscle strengthening moves of Barre and finishing with a restorative yoga flow. This low impact, high results mix of movement will create happy hearts, bodies and spirits!

Since you're coming to BARRE - the workout will be followed with a complimentary glass of bubbly!

Admission to class is a donation of any of the items below, packaged in a ziplock bag (for the smaller items).

TEEN RIDE

Our progressive 7 week Teen RIDE program will advance your athletes' endurance and cardio conditioning. Led by Mantra Fit's owner, Carleen's performance based coaching will develop your athlete's mental fortitude to tackle the highest climbs and surge across flats, through interval training that's set to a soundtrack of their favorite music, which we like to play loud!

This program runs 7 weeks, Thursdays, 5:15-6:15pm, Jan 12 - Feb 23. Cost: $105

Open to girls 11-17 years old. 

Sneakers can be worn, however we suggest SPD bike shoes to elevate the riders' experience and performance.

Don't forget your water and hand towel. We get sweaty!

Carleen Birnes, owner of Mantra Fit, will lead many of your workouts, help you connect to your goals, check in with you weekly and keep you accountable and motivated!
Connect with our Mantra 6 community—mod of individuals of all fitness levels, ages and backgrounds—who are committed to the same path to fitness and health. Every person goes at their own pace and is encouraged to give it their all in each and every workout.


Exercise alone is not enough to get you to your weight loss goals. After a good workout, that hard work must be supported in the kitchen. Think of it this way: build muscle in our classes and lose the extra layer covering it at HOME.

On our nutrition program, you can eat anything you want. We call it Flexible Eating. Our nutrition program helps you eat to perform. We do not believe in depriving the body of carbs or fat. Your food choices must meet your macronutrient goals (fat, protein, carbs), which are customized for you based on your fitness level, age, weight and goals

We enter our meals into My Fitness Pal, which keeps track of your macros, making it simple to stay on target with your eating.


  • Six weeks of unlimited fitness classes at Mantra Fit’s studio in Severna Park.
