If you're suffering from loss, the holidays can be an especially challenging time to cope with your grief. Our Yoga for Grief Workshop will provide solace by guiding you on a two-part journey through movement and mind.
You'll begin the class with a 60-min yoga flow that teaches you breathing techniques and restorative poses that you can use on your own to soothe emotions when you're struggling.
After yoga, students will settle in for an interactive workshop with Emily Young, a Bereavement Counselor (and fitness instructor at Mantra Fit), who will help you design a navigation plan to help you manage the holiday season. You'll finish the workshop by designing an ornamanet to honor your lost loved one.
