Our Teen Yoga class gives teens a sacred space to unwind, breathe, move mindfully and tap into their inner self without the distractions of screens and the outside world.
Aside from the physical benefits of yoga, yoga teaches teens techniques for coping with the unique issues they're faced with everyday—insecurity about their changing bodies, the enormous pressure to fit in, stressful schedules, and uncertainty about their beliefs and their futures.
Please make your reservation in advance. Our first Teen Yoga class begins Dec 20 and returns weekly on Thursdays at 6:30 pm.
Turn Thursdays into your family fitness evenings!
While the teens are enjoying their yoga, parents can work out next door in Mantra Fit’s Open Gym Circuit. Each day a new strength/conditioning circuit is posted on our whiteboard. Our coach will explain the circuit and demonstrate proper form, then you’ll hit the circuit independently.
Our Daily Open Gym Circuit takes no longer than 40 min including warm up and cool down. Exercises may include: rowing, cycling, dumbbell lifts, TRX and bands.
Everyone always goes at their own pace. Modifications ALWAYS given to work around injuries.
Open Gym only $10 per parent on Thurs evenings when their yogi attends Teen Community Yoga.
