WINTER PERFORMANCE TRAINING
Winter may be off season for your outdoor race season, but it’s also prime time to cross train and make you a stronger performer so you’ll be GAME ON when spring returns.
Our Winter Performance Training Program provides a comprehensive 8 week strength and conditioning regimen with weekly coach-led group trainings every Wed 6:30-7:30pm at our Severna Park studio.
Each day gives a detailed breakout of exercises that will progressively build your muscular strength, explosive power, core stability, agility and conditioning, with an emphasis on injury prevention through mobility warm ups and recovery stretches that keep joints and tissue healthy.
This program is for athletes of all disciplines. Men and women.
Your coaches will be Mantra Fit’s owner, Carleen Birnes, and Nicky Stimpson, former Naval Academy and Gunston School rowing coach. Both bring seasoned backgrounds in athletics and personal training. Carleen is also a health coach and will weave in discussions and handouts on sports nutrition.
