Beginner SUP Race Training Program
Our Beach to Bay SUP Race Training Program is geared for the ultimate beginner. If you have a desire to bring your fitness outdoors under the sunshine and on the water, then this training program is for you! Our seasoned SUP coaches will be with you every stroke, teaching you how to stand, balance, turn and progress your stroke to paddle 2+ miles with efficiency and confidence.
Our Beach to Bay Program spans five weeks with a comprehensive training program that provides progressive daily workouts for athletes to follow - indoors and on the water.
Every Wed, our Beach to Bay training group will meet for outdoor training paddles to get you confident with your stroke and race ready.
Paddleboard rentals are available. Choose from race shapes or all arounder styles (more balance). Email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your needs.
Our training goal is the Bay Bridge Paddle on Sat, June 1st at Sandy Point State Park.
Paddlers will compete in the 1 or 3 mile races, and feel the incredible stoke of finishing your first paddleboard race with a tribe of people who share your love of the water, and playing outside!
April 29 - June 1
5 week training program combining land strength and endurance training with paddling skill development and distance building
5 weekly Wednesday group trainings with coaches in studio or on the water
Open Gym unlimited access to perform program workouts (Severna Park studio)
Nutrition support with meal plans, health coaching and handouts
